Internet

For Example, These days, all the businesses have gone online, and it is completely dependent on the internet to reach the customers.

Intranet

Intranet is a private network for the sharing information or any other computing services within the organization only. In addition, It can help users to find and view information faster and use applications relevant to their roles and responsibilities.

For example, a company sharing files within their organization to other employee.

Following are the major differences between Internet and Intranet:

1.	Internet is a wide network of computers and is open for all.	The intranet is also a network of computers designed for a specific group of users.
2.	In internet, there are multiple users.	But In intranet, there are limited users.
3.	The Internet contains a different source of information and is available for all.	Intranet contains only specific group information.
4.	It is not as safe as compared to intranet.	But it is safe and secure network than internet.
5.	It is a public network.	It is a private network.
6.	Internet works on Public IP.	But Intranet works on Private IP.
7.	In internet, there are more number of visitors.	There are less number of visitors in Intranet because it is private.
